There are many workshops run throughout the country - most organisations ask you to attend their introductory or 'basic' workshop first.  These are good introductions for those who have never experienced shamanism before, and also good refreshers for those with any level of experience.  Even experienced shamanic practitioners attend 'basic' workshops every now and again to help keep foundations strong!

Here are a few suggestions for workshops coming up soon run by myself or people I have worked with and know their work to be of a good standard.  However, there are many others 'out there' running workshops, so recommend a good search on the web for more comprehensive information.

Introduction to Shamanism - basic course.  In this basic course we learn how to meet our power animals and spirit teachers, and navigate our way through the lower and upper worlds.  We work with others to gain insight and develop our experience, taking part in and receiving healing in a simple one to one way of healing and a group ceremony.  The course is spread over 6 evenings, to allow a chance to develop a simple daily practice and really integrate what we have learned.  By the end of the course participants will have a basic grasp of journeying and a good connection with their spirit helpers - allowing them to continue to journey on their own in a safe and grounded way.  Thursdays, Amesbury 7.30-10pm.  Cost £90 (£15 per evening).

Advanced course:  Being a bridge - working with others and healing my community.  A two-Saturday course in early 2008.  This is for those who can journey already, and gives a chance to deepen ones practice, whether as a healer or just someone who wants to explore how to bridge the world between their spirit helpers and those they know.  This includes working with our own healing teachers, practising some basic healing techniques, and journeying for others.  The course will also cover practical issues, ethics, exchange and how to work on our own 'stuff' as it comes up when we work with others.  £90 for the 2 sessions. Deposit £25. Amesbury.  Participants must have a good connection with their spirit helpers and be experienced in shamanic journeying.

Advanced course: Me and my environment - I can save the planet!  This is a one day course for us to delve deeper into what we can do to develop our relationship with our land, our earth, our Universe.  It will involve glimpsing at our role in nurturing the environment - a hot topic right now; and working with the Spirits of the Land where we live.  £45 for the day.  Deposit £20.  Amesbury.  Participants must have a good connection with their spirit helpers and be experienced in shamanic journeying.  2008.

SHAMANIC JOURNEY GROUP - NEW.  This is an ongoing group for those who are able to journey to develop their shamanic practice and deepen their relationship with their spirit helpers.  Many different ways of working will be explored with this group, and we have the opportunity to share our work with the rest of the group, enabling us to develop our bridging work between ourselves and our own communities.  This group is for those who are able to journey already - and a small commitment to attend all 6 sessions is required, as this helps the work to spiral deeply and shift us within ourselves, to better be on our paths and be all that we can be.  Join if you dare!  £15 a session.  Saturday afternoons, last Saturday of the month.  Starts after the Spring Equinox for 6 Saturdays.  £25 per afternoon.  Amesbury.
