A Shaman's Path
Introductory Intensive Course
Saturdays 24 May and 21 June 2008
Boscombe Down, near Salisbury, Wiltshire.
Shamanism
has a long and powerful ancestry. If we go back far enough in our family
histories we find that we are all descended from shamanic communities from
thousands of years ago. It is a truly tested, simple and practical way to
receive help and empowerment in our everyday lives.
This two day workshop gives you the chance to learn to connect to the power of
the Universe using traditional shamanic methods, such as the shamanic
‘journey’. You can gain insight,
help, healing and information about any aspect of your life.
This helps you to move along your path in life with greater ease and
filled with greater wholeness and presence, with balanced energy and more power.
You will learn how to connect with your spirit helpers and power animal in a
safe and grounded way. You will ask
for spirit help with issues in your life and learn how to use this power in a
balanced way that you can use for yourself and for others that ask for your
help. We will use the drum, rattles
and song in our explorations. We
also learn to work with the spirits of nature and have the chance to experience
a shamanic ceremony in nature on the summer Solstice upon ancient Wiltshire
land.
The nature of the small, two day workshop allows you to try what you learn on
day one at home and to bring your experiences to the second day in order to make
sense of and develop your skills more deeply.
This course prepares you for more in depth courses & ‘drumming
groups’ with Joanna and other shamanic practitioners.
The course is also
suitable for those with some experience of shamanism and shamanic journeying who
wish to deepen their practice.
Cost:
£55 per day including lunch /£70 per day if only one booked (£20
deposit).
Time:
10am to 5pm
